Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon to join a successful, expanding team at Hackensack University Medical Center.
The successful candidate is a Breast Surgeon with solid clinical skills, with a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care along with the desire to be part of a world-class service team with a focus on building a center of excellence. Our multidisciplinary team includes medical and radiation oncologists, breast surgeons, nurse navigators, research nurses, social workers, integrative medicine specialists, and palliative care providers. This is an excellent opportunity for mentorship.
Opportunity Information

- Work with two other employed breast surgeons in practice to grow and expand the Division of Breast Surgery in clinical volume and research
- Qualify for an academic appointment at the Assistant Professor rank or higher at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine

COMPENSATION:
Minimum Starting Base Salary: $316,598

Specialization: Area of specialization and sub-specialization.

Leadership: Relevant experience as a department chair or chief, practice group leader, or other leadership roles.
Education and Certifications: Degrees attained, residencies, fellowships, board certifications, research, and publications.
Productivity: Levels of productivity, quality and patient satisfaction.
Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.
Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
In addition to our compensation for full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
