Description
$3,000 signing bonus! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our well-established primary care practice. In this role, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care specializing in adult and preventative medicine. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage acute and preventative care situations effectively.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records, including data management and documentation of patient encounters.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives as needed to enhance patient care practices.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques during procedures and maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Stay current with ICD-10 coding for accurate billing and documentation.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Proficiency in data management systems relevant to patient care documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
